Text Message Holds Notifications If you provided your email address when you signed up for a library card/DC One Card then you already receive email notifications from the DC Public Library.  Now you can get text messages (in addition to your emails) when your reserved items are ready for pickup and/or when you have overdue items.  Enroll below*. 1.) Enter your Customer ID or your Onecard/License#. 2.) Enter your PIN. 3.) Enter your mobile phone number. 4.) Choose your carrier. All fields are Required Your information Customer ID OR   Onecard/License#     PIN Mobile Phone Number [example: 2025551212] Carrier AT&T TMobile AT&T Mobility/Cingular Sprint Nextel Verizon Alltell   * Standard text message/SMS fees from your carrier will apply.  We're serious about privacy and will not share your phone number.  In the future we may send out occasional notifications about library events, but we'll let you know if we're going to start doing this.  If you wish to discontinue receiving text messages and/or emails from the Library's catalog system, please email online.cards@dc.gov or call (202) 727-5725.
